The third Meeting of the EITI MSG Working Group

On September 18, 2026, the third meeting of the EITI MSG Working Group was held at the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia.

During the meeting, the Working Group discussed high-priority actions included in the roadmap for addressing the gaps identified in EITI Reports 1–6 and the Validation Reports.

In particular, the discussion focused on the legislative amendments concerning the allocation of land for mining purposes, transparency of financial allocations by mining companies to various foundations, non-governmental organizations, state and local self-government bodies, information on dividends received from state participation, as well as legislative measures aimed at ensuring the verification and reliability of data submitted in beneficial ownership declarations.
