EITI Launches New Global Database on the Extractive Sector

The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) has launched a new global database bringing together data on the oil, gas and mining sectors in one searchable platform.

The database includes data on more than USD 3.6 trillion in government revenues, 3,900 reporting entities and information from more than 55 countries. Users can explore data on government revenues, company payments, production, exports, reserves and other key indicators.

The data can be searched and compared by country, company, sector, commodity and over time, providing an accessible tool for analysing developments in the extractive industries across countries and years.
